About the Owner

Dwayne Lewis, owner of Lewis Block & Supply Company, saw a niche in the construction market - a shortage of suppliers of hardscape materials (a.k.a. Big Block, Segmental Retaining Wall, Wall Panels, Pavers, Flagstone & Stacked Stone) in the Kansas City region.

He took advantage of the business relationships built over the past 30 years in the areas of cable television construction and cellular phone tower design & construction and formed his company.

About The Company

The Lewis Block & Supply Company, a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), was formed to supply hardscape MSE (mechanically stabilized earth retaining systems) materials to the construction industry. Our philosophy is very simple. Provide a quality product in a timely manner at a fair price and be available personally to deal with issues that inevitably arise during most construction work. We believe strongly that if this commitment is followed to the letter, success is virtually guaranteed. Our commitment is only as strong as the quality of the product that we provide. We've met personally with the various manufacturers and only enter into agreements with companies that we are 100% comfortable with the quality and competitive pricing of their product.

Fall 2007 Newsletter

Dwayne has launched a number of successful small businesses in the satellite industry and on the web. His commitment to the community is evident as he has spent time serving the needy, working with Habitat for Humanity, teaching computer classes at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kansas City, assisting youth athletes in preparing for the collegiate phase of their life and officiating high school and college basketball.

Dwayne is very happily married with three children and two grandchildren.
